What's on your menu for the weekend? Is it hamburgers with lettuce or a gluten free sandwich wrapping? Potato salad using gluten free mayo? A nice cheesecake (gluten free crust, of course) with strawberry or raspberry sauce?

Or, perhaps you can bring something to the picnic a little untraditional, maybe, but that is also naturally gluten free -- how about clams or mussels with a lemon-garlic sauce? 

For one great recipe idea, you might want to try this "Moroccan Whole Spice-crusted Chicken Brochettes" from one of my fave health food stores, PCC (Puget Sound Consumers Coop). Just do a search on the name and PCC and it should pop right up! It is a designated gluten free recipe; I haven't made it yet, but made a similar Martha Stewart recipe that turned out great! Plus, it adds a little elegance to the usual barbeque, don't you think?
