Don't you just love it when your friends care enough to slice some apples or grapes just for you, alongside the plate of pumpkin-colored cupcakes? Or, when, amazingly, the pound cake served at the informal reunion of your five old school chums turns out to be gluten-free, purchased specifically with the sans gluten folks in mind? (And, excellent, moist, and crumbly, to boot)?!
I mean, friends like these are to be considered gold, forevermore, right? They're pretty much off-the-hook for all future de rigeur buddy duties (birthday cards sent on time, rising at dawn for pet shopping trips, etc.) Luckily, I've experienced this a few times in just a month. Wow!
