artsy & gluten free

I like to think that eating gluten free enhances awareness of all things quality. They even rhyme -- gluten free, artsy, quality. But I digress. When one starts reading labels, maybe growing a few vegetables, and otherwise just becoming aware of the restaurant down the street that buys ingredients locally and cooks everything from scratch; well, caring about how things are put together -- and also how things look and feel, taste and smell, becomes more endemic, more natural. Hence, this page. Call it learning to appreciate the art of art as well as the art of food!

January 15-16: It's worth it, if you'll be in Seattle the next two days! (Photo at left is not Picasso, it's licensed by Creative Commons!) And stop at the gelato place on First Avenue, walking up the hill from SAM. When I was there, they featured four different flavors of gluten free ice cream!
