Gluten free for a healthy weight?
Can eating gluten free help a person get to a healthier weight?
One great thing about eating gluten free is that one becomes much more aware of every last morsel going into one's body: what's it made from? I mean, what is it really made from? When one get used to reading every wrapper, every box, every can, every jug, every everything, it gets much easier to jettison the things with the mile-long ingredient lists! A lot of sauces go out the door. It becomes much easier to tell the chef at the restaurant to just season with the basics: salt, pepper, herbs, garlic, ginger, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon. It's easier to eat plain fruit, vegetables, beans; because, often, those are the only things you can have! You're at a catered reception, for instance: mouth-watering chocolate brownies, peanut butter cookies with sugar crystals . . . yet all you can have are the broccoli and red and green bell pepper strips. And, oh yeah, the cauliflower! See what I mean? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Please find comment boxes on several other pages!
